Dr Maddie White
Co-Founder
Dr White has a keen interest in translating basic research into novel treatments for cancer and autoimmune diseases. Maddie is already building successful relationships with AFT Pharmaceuticals, Massey Ventures, and the greater science innovation network, and she is looking forward to strengthening connections with the wider scientific community.
She has an extensive background in the treatment of autoimmune disease, with a particular focus on understanding how helminth parasites can suppress host immune responses and how these pathways may be targeted as therapeutics for autoimmune disease.
More recently, Maddie’s focus has switched to research commercialisation and working directly with her technical husband, Sean, LabMates was born.

Sean is a seasoned technical expert with a strong focus on DevOps and leading technical teams. He excels simplifying complexity and at bridging the gap between product development, business strategy and technical implementation.
He has a proven track record of delivering high-quality, scalable, and secure software solutions SaaS applications through to large-scale corporate projects. Sean is passionate about building innovative products that drive business growth and deliver exceptional user experiences.
Partnering with his wife, Dr. Maddie White, Sean is dedicated to using technology to help solve problems in a new industry space for him.
